About university: The University was established in June 1985 around the nucleus of Centre for Post Graduate Instruction and Research of the University of Bombay in Goa. The University Campus is located on the outskirts of Panaji, the capital city and spread over nearly 173 hectares on the Taleigao plateau overlooking the scenic Zuari River joining the Arabian Sea.
