About course:
The university conducts Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral courses in variety of agriculture related disciplines. The University has been undertaking various need based research programs to solve the regional problems for enhancing livestock and fish production in the state.
About university:
Established on 2nd January, 1995, West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences was started with the aim of promoting education, training and conducting research in veterinary, animal, dairy and fishery sciences. It caters to the needs of the farming community in the State of West Bengal.
Facilities:
The university provides hostel facility for accommodating the students from outside the city.
Students can participate in indoor and outdoor sports activities.
The placement cell at the University takes care of campus placements of the graduate and post-graduate students.
About library:
The University has also facilitated a central library which is well-equipped with all modern facilities and resources in the form of books, print journals (National and international), online journals, CD-ROMs, standards, theses, reports etc
