About university: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University,is one of the honored universities in Asia for carrying education in agriculture, famous among residents as “HAU” was established on February 2 ,1970 by an Act of Parliament. University is located in Hisar, one of the crucial and quick developing towns of advanced Haryana. The University named after India’s seventh Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. Previous the university was contribution of the Punjb Agricultural University which became an autonomous institution in 1966 with the division of Punjab and Haryana.
