About course:- BCKV offers education at UG, PG and PhD levels in the fields of Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering, veterinary science, home science and fisheries science. Such as B.Sc. (Agriculture, Dairy Science, Forestry and Home science), M.Sc. (Home Science, Agriculture) and MBA (Agri-Business), Ph. D(Agriculture, home science and veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry)
About university:-
The university established in 1974, has completed near about 30 years of its existence as the pioneer institute of Agricultural Education, Research and Extension. The main aim of this Viswavidyalaya is to provide facilities for the study of Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering. Ever since its establishment, BCKV is enlisted in the list of the University Grants Commission (UGC) as recognized institute, under the UGC Act. However, courses conducted by the university are self-financed. BCKV is also a member of the Associations o Indian Universities (AIU).
Library:-
The Central Library, BCKV, housed in a very wide building, with its architectural beauty is located at Mohanpur (main campus).It has a collection of 69460 books,350 Indian Standards and specifications 2600 theses and dissertations, 24368 back volumes of periodicals, 208 current journals (Foreign and Indian), 125 non-book materials and 175 e-documents. It allows to registered as well as unregistered users also.
